The Munro 2.0 is a vintage Electric Moped from electric moped startup Munro from Beijing, China. The company was founded in 2014 by artist Zack Wong and its brand name, “Munro”, is in honor of Burt Munro from New Zealand, who set a land speed record on an Indian motorcycle that still stands today (2020). The spirit of the company is the pursuit of perfection and being loyal to the dream.
The Munro motorbike is an homage to the iconic 1920s Indian (Scout) Motorcycle.
The moped has a powerful 450 watt electric motor in the rear wheel for a top speed of 45 km/h. The motor provides 42 Nm torque for fast acceleration.
The moped has two swap-able lithium batteries that provide a driving range of 100 km. The batteries are light weight and easy to carry. The batteries are stored in a V-shape double cylinder engine compartment.
The moped is light weight and weighs merely 42 kg. The frame of the moped is made of aluminum.
The moped has a digital dashboard with Everlight highlighted white LED display technology.
The moped has a remote control for the battery compartment and alarm system.
